This portal is a voluntary community service for Banagar, Nagalik, Shimpi, Chippig, Rangari and related communities. We collect only the information needed to build one trusted directory of families, students, businesses, matrimony profiles and societies. This page explains what we collect, who can see it, and how you can control your data.
The Banagar Samaja Community Census & Support Network Portal is offered as a voluntary contribution by well-wishers of the samaja. It is managed by community-appointed area admins and super admins. No fee, donation or charge of any kind is collected from any society, social worker, family or member.
When you register and fill your family profile we collect: family name and address; head-of-family details; each member's name, photo, date of birth, gender, relation to head, education, occupation, employer, work city, income range, skills, health notes, disability information, support needs, Aadhaar number (optional), government card type, student details and matrimony or business listings. We also collect society/organisation registration details and office-bearer information when a group registers.
The public Directory shows only the head of each approved family: a masked name (first name plus initial), photo, approximate age, profession and city/area. Public Business and Societies pages show only the listing title, type, category, area and contact details that the owner chose to make public. The Remembrance page shows only the first name, photo and years of the deceased. Phone numbers, addresses, Aadhaar, health, income and full family reports are never shown publicly.
After your account is verified and approved by an area admin, you can see the full names and public business details of other approved families. Matrimony profiles are visible only to signed-in, approved members. Contact numbers, addresses, Aadhaar, health notes, income and full family reports remain visible only to you and the admins of your area.
Member photos are used to identify families in the Directory, home-page sections and family reports. Photos are stored securely and are not used for any commercial purpose. You can replace or remove your family members' photos at any time from the My Family page.
We keep your account and family data while the portal remains useful to the community. Inactive accounts and unused records are kept for up to 2 years unless you ask us to delete them earlier. You can request deletion of your account and all related family, member, business and matrimony data at any time by emailing us.
You can view, edit or delete your own family, member, business, matrimony and society entries at any time from the portal. You can also request a copy of your data or ask us to correct or remove it by contacting the privacy email below. We will respond as quickly as possible.
Area admins can see and manage data only for the district, taluk or area/city they have been assigned. Super admins can view and moderate all data to keep the portal safe and accurate. Every approval, edit and deletion is recorded with the admin's identity so the community can audit decisions.
The portal is built on a secure cloud database with row-level security. Every read and write checks the user's role and area before returning data. Family reports carry a tamper-evident hash so printed records can be verified. We do not sell or share member data with advertisers or third parties.
We use only essential session cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and give members a clear choice.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the portal grows. The latest version will always be available on this page with the last-updated date at the top.
